_IFS Therapy Anxiety Trauma Stress Self-Worth_I love my job because:
I feel so lucky and honoured to do this work. I get to walk alongside clients as they begin to understand themselves differently, and I love hearing about the moments when something starts to shift – when they feel more confident, respond differently in a difficult situation, or recognize that they have more choice in how they show up. Seeing clients begin to extend more compassion toward themselves is one of the most meaningful parts of this work for me.
See me if:
You’re experiencing anxiety, self-doubt, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, or challenges in your relationships. I specialize in working with people who are used to being the strong one – the person others rely on – while struggling to make the same space for themselves. You may take care of others, worry about letting people down, or put your own needs aside, and somewhere along the way, lose sight of the fact that you matter too.
How do I help you?
My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), an approach that helps us understand that the different thoughts, feelings, and reactions we experience are there for a reason. Rather than seeing parts of yourself as problems to fix, we’ll approach them with curiosity and compassion, helping you better understand yourself and create more choice in how you respond and show up in your life.
I also draw from trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches, Polyvagal Theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Together, these approaches help us understand not only what you’re experiencing, but how your past experiences, relationships, and nervous system may be shaping how you feel and respond today. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected to yourself, and confident in making space for what you need too.
I believe in:
I believe we all have the capacity to heal. Healing happens through connection – with others and within ourselves. When we feel safe enough to turn toward ourselves with curiosity and compassion, we can begin to reconnect with who we are and the strength that has always been within us.
