Associate Chiropractor (Independent Contractor)

Common Ground Health & Wellness is seeking an Associate Chiropractor (Independent Contractor) to join our multidisciplinary clinic in Ottawa. This role offers the opportunity to build an independent practice within a supportive, collaborative environment, with administrative support and internal referral opportunities.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients using evidence-informed chiropractic care
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for musculoskeletal conditions
  • Provide hands-on treatment, including adjustments and manual therapy
  • Educate patients on movement, recovery, and long-term health
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers within the clinic (RMTs, physiotherapists, and social workers/psychotherapy)

Clinic Environment

  • Administrative and reception support Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Semi-private treatment space (not a fully enclosed room)
  • Access to a private, closed-door consultation room
  • Use of a new electric elevation chiropractic table
  • JaneApp online booking and insurance billing support from our admin team
  • Multidisciplinary team including physiotherapy, massage therapy, and psychotherapy
  • Staff kitchen and shared workspace
  • Established client base with internal referral opportunities

Compensation

  • 65% to 70% split, based on experience, autonomy, and level of support required
  • Negotiable for the right candidate
  • Paid bi-weekly via EFT upon invoicing
  • Compensation is percentage-based. The hourly range listed on this posting reflects estimated earnings based on typical appointment volume.

  • Flexible scheduling
  • Preference for consistent weekday availability
  • Full autonomy over schedule and clinical decision-making

Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario
  • Professional liability insurance with a minimum of $2 million coverage
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently within a shared clinical environment

Additional Information

This is a non-exclusive independent contractor position. Practitioners maintain full control over their schedule, treatment approach, and practice development.

There is flexibility to collaborate on service offerings and pricing based on practitioner strengths and experience.
